Chausie (Jungle cat + Domestic cat)
After watching the Netflix series Tiger King, some individuals might have developed a heightened interest in owning a large cat. Unfortunately for these people (but luckily for the cats), the idea of keeping these majestic creatures as household pets carries significant risks and challenges. In light of this, a couple of individuals embarked on a mission to develop a cat breed that would mimic the appearance of a wild feline while maintaining domestication.

During the 1990s, these inquisitive minds created the Chausie, a hybrid resulting from the crossbreeding of a jungle cat with a domestic cat. Chausies share the intelligence and liveliness characteristic of many other cat breeds; however, their genetic link to the jungle cat has rendered them less capable of processing plant-based dietary components, highlighting the complexities of their dietary needs.
