A court is hardly where many of us would think a funny story could happen. After all, these are the places where people’s lives are changed, for better or worse. You could get justice for a traumatic incident or end up behind bars for life. However, that doesn’t mean some funny things can’t happen there! Honesty Policy
Many of us consider honesty one of the most important traits a person can have. In fact, studies have proven that around 75% of people are honest consistently, as they tell between zero to two lies each day. Naturally, a courtroom is where people are more honest than they’ve ever been.
And, sometimes, that can be to other people’s detriment, as you see in this story! I can imagine this lawyer was probably quite cheesed off when the witness said this. That’s one pretty confident witness – I don’t think many of us would be brave enough to say something like this.
