Pass It On
Now, the below tweet illustrates the story of a young person who works as a graveyard shift cashier in a “rough part of town.” They often receive change with the instructions to “pass it on” or “pay it forward.” Apparently, the majority of folks who leave said change are homeless, addicts, or “the occasional drunk.” “Because they’ve been there,” the tweet concludes.

It’s always touching to see folks give even beyond their own means. The coins and the message of “passing it on” is a show of solidarity for people who’ve fallen on hard times. Everyone’s gone through a rough patch of some sort. We as human beings need to do what we can to support each other. We’re all in this together.
