This legal story is so wild. The country of Iceland has been engaged in a legal battle with a company named Iceland for years. There’s a British supermarket company called Iceland Foods Ltd and they have absolutely no affiliation with the country of Iceland. We have no idea why they couldn’t have just thought of a different name, but here we are.

The company was founded in 2002, and Iceland (the country) has been fighting for its name ever since. There have been several court cases over the years, most of which the country of Iceland has won. At this point, we feel like the owners of Iceland Foods Ltd are just being petty by not changing their company name. Just give it up, guys.
