#6: Darius McCollum
The job market is tough. You can apply to dozens of jobs without hearing back from a single one. Darius McCollum was rejected multiple times by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, or MTA, in New York City. However, he didn’t let that stop him. Darius is an interesting character because he ended up being arrested multiple times for impersonating a transit worker.
The thing was, Darius simply wanted to work for MTA. When impersonating a transit worker, he just operated the trains and buses as usual. No one was ever injured, and he had no mal intent. Unfortunately, it’s definitely against the law to impersonate an MTA worker. Sadly, today, Darius is in a psychiatric institution. His hyper-fixation on trains and the New York public transit system bordered on endangering himself and others.
